This is all fine and good. We all know people who "go out" hunting and I really don't have an issue with them doing so. Usually people talk of trips where they travel out into the middle of nowhere to hunt, camping by the river and waking up at the crack of dawn to take something down.
My problem with these two particular hunters was this: They were getting out of their truck to go hunting just two blocks from my home. This may not be a big city, but I know how far a rifle bullet can go and I'm pretty sure a poorly aimed round could rip right through my wall.
So, dear hunters, please stay away from my home...
Funny thing is, it could have even been a neighbor! Good luck not getting shot!
ReplyDeleteUm...little tiny bit scary...Hey, is all of that land yours???
ReplyDeleteWhat are they going to shoot in your neghborhood? Cows?
ReplyDeleteI am inclined to believe someone able to go hunting 2 blocks from you is more concerning than them being there with the guns themselves. Maybe you should thinking of building a big hill in your back yard.
ReplyDeleteIt's Nov.15 already.
ReplyDeleteAre they still there??
I think the men with guns found them.
ReplyDeletegood thing "men with guns" probably don't read blogs or they might come talk to you about your misplaced fears concerning their marksmanship...
ReplyDeleteI bet they've all gone home. Tired of waiting for ya'll t'cum out 'n play.
