So, every now and then my faith in Humanity is restored.
At the grocery store today I watched as a mother stood in line with her two boys. The younger one - about 2ish - wanted no part in it. Finally the mother grabbed her second son, put down the box of frozen something that she wanted to buy and left the store.
My mind thought immediately about Brazil and that parents with young kids (and the elderly) automatically go to the front of the line. Not here. I was honestly a little disappointed with the whole situation.
Well, then the woman ahead of her grabbed the item the mother left behind, paid for it, and ran out to the parking lot and handed it to her.
Sometime people surprise me for the better.
That is so nice. And sadly, so rare.
