She says, "I wanted you to know that I am out in the backyard and there is someone walking through our backyards. Can you turn on the light in the backyard? I'm out here with my firearm. Can you come outside?"
Normally the neighbor asking you to come out into hte backyard because there was someone out there and they were armed would not be something one would like to do. But, our neighbor is a police officer.
I got the shotgun out of the basement and loaded two rounds. Tomorrow I'm going to buy the strongest floodlight I can find.
I love living in the suburbs...
So then what happened?!! Who was back there?
ReplyDeleteAdmit it, Floyd, that is not just the suburbs that is Southern living as well! I love the South!
ReplyDeleteI am curious to find out what/who it was...
I am curious if you can actually shoot anything with that gun. None of us are particularly known for our shooting abilities. Blanks or rock salt would probably be good enough for me.
ReplyDeleteGood thing you don't live in The Jungle - people in their own yards are closer to us than that entity in your backyard was to you.
ReplyDeleteWay to protect the homestead. I'll remember not to go snooping around your yard at night.
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely Southern living right there...
ReplyDeleteHope nobody ever tries to Pixie you guys or give you a heart attack.
